Guidelines for Abstract submission

• The abstract should be computer typed in MS Word in Times New Roman, Font size 12, Spacing 1.5 cm and should not exceed 250 words.
• Presentation type: Oral or E-poster
• Title: Should be in Title Case, short and concise.
• Category of participants: Under Graduate (UG), Post Graduate (PG), PhD Scholars (PhD) and Faculty
• Category of abstract:
  • Genetics
  • Computational biology and bioinformatics
  • Communicable diseases and Non-communicable diseases
  • Next generation sequencing and clinical genetics
  • Miscellaneous
• Author/s names/s and affiliation: Should be in CAPITAL LETTERS, name of the presenting author being underlined. Author/s, name/s should be followed by their institutional affiliations and email ID of the presenting author.
• The presenting author can submit only one abstract.
• The abstract should be structured under following headings: Introduction, Objectives, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusion.
• Abstract should be labelled as per the category as UG/PG/PhD/faculty-name-Yenbiocon 25
• Abstracts should be emailed to: yenbiocon@yenepoya.edu.in by 15th Nov 2025, (05:00 PM). No abstracts will be accepted after the deadline.
• All abstracts will be reviewed and presenting authors will be informed by e-mail of their acceptance or rejection latest by 30th November 2025.
• Scientific committee reserves the right to accept and select the scientific papers for oral or e-poster presentation.
• Submitted abstracts should not be published or presented previously.
